Expedition 001 / Coming soon

Nysa

Wake an ocean. Grow a living world.

A thoughtful planetary engineering game about ice, water, life, and the balance between them. Place your tools, advance time, and watch a planet respond.

DEVELOPMENT BUILD / VISUALS & FEATURES MAY CHANGE

One planet. A chain of consequences.

Think in worlds.
Act in small steps.

The challenge is more than making a planet warmer. It is creating conditions that life can keep calling home.

01 / Observe

Read the planet.

Inspect local temperature, moisture, and life. A global average only tells part of the story: a sheltered basin might be ready long before the rest of the world.

02 / Intervene

Try an idea.

Place mirrors, vents, spores, shades, and scrubbers. Choose where they belong and adjust their output as the world changes.

03 / Understand

See what follows.

Advance years on your terms. Watch ice retreat and colonies spread, then revisit your decisions when a promising change brings an unexpected consequence.

Before you embark

A few field questions.

When can I play?

Nysa is in development for iOS and Android. We have not announced a release date or opened public downloads. Development updates will appear in our field notes.

Do I need to know planetary science?

No. The aim is to make experimentation approachable through visible changes and useful feedback. It is a stylized game inspired by planetary systems, not a scientific forecasting tool.

Will the game be free?

Our plan is a complete free Nysa expedition, followed by an optional one-time campaign purchase. The paid campaign's contents and price are still being developed. We are not planning subscriptions or consumable purchases.

Is it an idle game?

Time advances when you choose. The current design centers on placing tools, observing changes, and making adjustments, rather than waiting for a real-world timer.

What about other worlds?

We are also experimenting with Ember, a hot world where protecting existing life changes the problem. It is a development prototype; the final campaign lineup has not been announced.

Follow the experiment.
